Frame Architecture Brings A Unique Design Feature To Fatburger

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
November 8, 2010

(Reno, Nev.)
– California-based Fatburger will be opening in two locations in Reno. The fast-food chain’s first restaurant will be located in north Reno at the Northtowne Shopping Center.  The second restaurant will be located at The Summit Shopping Center in south Reno. Franchise owner, Albert Yang, has hired Frame Architecture to design both Fatburger locations.

“This has been a really exciting project to work on,” Jeff Frame, owner of Frame Architecture, said. “Our design will be the first in North America with Fatburger’s new International design concept. They will no longer use the overbearing 50’s style stainless steel with neon look throughout. In addition, one unique aspect of restaurants is that both will have a hand washing sink in the main dining area. Our client, Albert Yang, researched this idea and found that a majority of people will wash their hands before eating but do not like to go into the public bathrooms. We have created a sink that is cantilevered off the wall that will allow for ADA access.”

Construction of the two restaurants will begin in November. Both restaurants are expected be open by spring 2011.
